Recently I wanted to book a specific hard to get accomodation. While it ultimately wasn't available, it was immensely more convenient to just email back and forth rather than sitting on hold with Disney and gambling with the "kind" of reservation agent that answers the phone.
Some other annoying Disney habits: They WILL NOT talk to you until you have given them a 5 minute profile of yourself.
This is SO ANNOYING when just calling to check room only availability and pricing. Or if you're calling back several times repeatedly to check and see if something opened up.
Even though I'm a skeptic of travel agencies sometimes, I thought it was a very good experience even though I didn't pay one dime because I couldn't get a hard to come by reservation.

Judy, you can transfer a reservation to us, even after you are paid in full. Since we are an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, Disney does allow guests to transfer a reservation to us (even after you are paid). Please send me an email at allison[NOSPAM, use the at sign here]destinationsinflorida.com and I can send you some more details on how to transfer a reservation. It is really easy, just involves your signature and a fax.

Bummer...Disney is spreading the news! This was our "secret" discount that we have been pricing our guests for weeks. It is actually good through June. You can even book this as a package, not only a room only reservation if you want to take advantage of dining.
There have been so much advertising about the Disney Gift Cards, most people think that is the best deal. This discount package can actually be a better deal depending on your dates, number of nights, and resort choice. Just the other day, I saved one of my repeat guests $978 by booking this discount package instead of the Disney Gift Card promotion. Very cool!

Hi Allison, we are looking to go to disney from June 19th through the 25th. I get a corporate discount on hotels off property and great pricing on hopper passes, but no specials for staying on property. Do you know of any during that time? Thanks

At this time, Disney only has a room only discount for AAA. The summer package deals are not available yet. However, we have heard that Disney will be offer summer discount packages at the Disney Resort Hotels. We should be getting this information in the next month. If you would like me to contact you when this discount comes available, send me your email and I can add you to our watch list. Once a summer discount comes available, we will notify you with the details.
