How does the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” program work?
“Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” is a program that celebrates and
inspires volunteerism. Disney is working with HandsOn Network to bring
amazing volunteer opportunities across the U.S. to which you can lend
your much-needed services. As a way of thanking you for your good work,
we’ll give you a free ticket good for one day admission to a Walt
Disney World or Disneyland theme park.
Sign up at www.DisneyParks.com (for the United States and Puerto
Rico) and www.DisneyParks.ca (for Canada). As part of the sign up
process, you will search and select from a list of eligible volunteer
opportunities with participating organizations. After you sign up,
complete your chosen volunteer opportunity and HandsOn Network has
verified your service, you will receive an email from Disney prompting
you to log in to your account and print a voucher that may be redeemed
for your free ticket to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland
theme park.
How do I sign up for the program?
Starting January 1, 2010, you may search for volunteer opportunities
from these sites, www.DisneyParks.com (for the United States and Puerto
Rico) and www.DisneyParks.ca (for Canada), and—once you’ve selected one
—sign up to volunteer and complete your service. Before January 1, 2010,
you can provide us with your contact information so that you can be
reminded of when sign up begins and receive fun downloads in the
meantime.
When does the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” program end?
Ticket quantities for this program are limited. The program begins
January 1, 2010 and continues until all tickets are distributed or
December 15, 2010, whichever occurs first.
How often can I volunteer to get a free ticket?
The program is limited to one ticket per person, regardless of the
number of times you volunteer.
If I have a valid multi-day ticket or Annual Pass or Passport, is
there anything else that I can receive?
Guests who present a valid multi-day ticket or Annual Pass or
Passport may choose from one of the following three options instead of
receiving the free 1-day, 1-park ticket: Disney’s Special FASTPASS cards
for certain attractions for you and up to 5 additional members of your
party. A collectible Ear Hat figurine with exclusive trading pins Donate
your free ticket to a non-profit organization designated by Disney
Parks.
Valid ID and a valid Walt Disney World or Disneyland
Multi-Day Ticket, Seasonal Pass or Annual Pass or Passport along with
the voucher will be required at the time of redemption. No cash refunds
or credits will be provided to Passholders or Multi-day ticket holders
who participate in the “Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.” program and
choose not to redeem their voucher for admission or exchange it for a
redemption alternative.
When is my free Disney Theme Park ticket valid for use? Are there any
dates I can’t use my ticket?
Your voucher for a free ticket to enter one of the Disney Theme Parks
may be redeemed through December 15, 2010, and must be redeemed and used
on the same day. Please note, that the following dates are not available
for this ticket offer redemption:

Puerto Rico may participate in a special cast member program also
designed to inspire volunteerism. Under this cast program, cast members
may sign up for eligible volunteer opportunities at disneyparks.com.
(.ca) beginning January 1, 2010.
If I am a family member of a Cast Member, can I participate?
Family members of Cast Members may participate in the “Give a Day.
Get a Disney Day.” program just like our other Guests.
