Adventures by Disney. However, on some trips, children 6+
benefit most from the exciting activities that Adventures by

1) How much is required to make a reservation?
When you make your reservation, a deposit of $300 per person is
required, and the remainder of the payment is due 90 days prior to
departure date. The deposit is fully refundable for 10 calendar days
from booking.
2) What is included in the cost of the adventure?
Included in the Adventure experiences are:

4) Can an extra night before or after the adventure dates be
reserved?
An extra night either before or after most adventures at the
first and last hotel included in an adventure can be reserved enabling
adventurers to stay in the same room. For early arrivals or extended
stays, a transfer from/to the airport will be provided if your hotel has
been booked via Adventures by Disney Travel Services. If your hotel was
not booked via Adventures by Disney Travel Services, a transfer from/to
the airport cannot be offered. The special rates for these additional
nights are subject to availability, only available if booked in
conjunction with an adventure package and cannot be combined with any
other offer.
5) What if I need to cancel a reservation?
Cancellations can be made by telephone or in writing. The time
of cancellation will be the date upon which Adventures by Disney
receives notice. Changes made to the vacation commencement date or
itinerary will be deemed a cancellation. If you cancel, amounts paid,
minus cancellation fees and other amounts owed, will be promptly
refunded. The deposit of $300 per person is fully refundable for 10
calendar days from booking. You must notify Adventures by Disney if you
decide to cancel within 10 calendar days of booking. If you cancel after
this period, the following cancellation fees, calculated in days prior
to vacation start date, will apply:

90 days or more: $300 per person

60-89 days: 25% of the land package price
-
30-59 days: 50% of the land package price
-
0-29 days: 100% of the land package price.

No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or
cancellation by you after the vacation start date.
The cancellation terms above apply only to the land package price and
exclude, among other things, cancellation charges from air carriers. The
purchase of the Adventures by Disney Vacation Protection Plan as a
precaution is strongly recommend .
6) What is the Adventures by Disney Vacation Protection Plan?
The Adventures by Disney Protection Plan is strongly
recommended. The coverage is automatically applied to all reservations.
If insurance coverage is not wanted, you must request its removal.
7) Can airfare be booked?
Air transportation can be purchased from Adventures by Disney to and
from the home airport in accordance with the scheduled vacation dates
and to coordinate with an adventure itinerary. As an added benefit, many
flights offered through Adventures by Disney do not need to be paid for
immediately, unlike most published fares. Please inquire for details.
8) I prefer to book flights on my own. Are there any
guidelines I need to be made aware of?
Yes. Before reserving flights, please refer to the reservation
confirmation for flight guidelines. Adventures by Disney is not
responsible for airline change fees, extra fees incurred or for missed
activities due to flights which are booked outside of the established
guidelines. Please contact us prior to purchasing your airline tickets
if you have any questions.
9) Is there a minimum age for travelers?
Adventures by Disney welcomes children ages 4 and up to discover the
stories of the world. However, on some trips, children ages 6+ benefit

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
Adventures identified as 'Adult Only' are restricted to guests 18
years and older. Daily activities for these trips may vary.
10) Is it a requirement to know the language native to the
destination?
No. All adventures are conducted in English.
11) What if specific assistance is needed during travel?
Certain activities on select itineraries will present challenges that
may not be suitable for Guests with special needs. Many adventures
involve considerable walking, and depending on the destination, may
include walking on uneven sidewalks and streets, narrow passages, steep
stairs and inclines. Adventures by Disney strongly recommends that
Guests requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable
of, and totally responsible for, providing assistance. Neither
Adventures by Disney nor our Suppliers may physically lift or assist
Guests onto transportation vehicles or otherwise. Please contact us to
discuss your specific needs.
12) Are there luggage restrictions?
The best recommendation? Pack lightly. Many guests find they
pack too many clothes and personal items. Each guest is restricted to
one checked bag plus one carry-on bag per person, as specified by the
air carrier.
13) What documentation will be received in advance of the
vacation?

A reservation confirmation packet will be mailed shortly after
booking an Adventures by Disney vacation.

An acknowledgement upon receipt of final payment.
-
Final travel planning documents will be mailed approximately 45
days before the trip start date. These documents will include
the detailed itinerary of the vacation, as well as information
to help prepare for the vacation.
14) What will hotel bedding be like on a European Adventure?
Standard rooms in most European hotels are comprised of two
standard-sized double beds (or a King upon request). Queen-sized beds
are generally not available. In many locations, local codes prohibit
four-person occupancy in one standard-size room. Detailed information on
hotel bedding for each Adventures by Disney vacation is included with
each itinerary.
15) Do Guests need a passport or visa?
For international travel, U.S. citizens need a passport valid
for at least 6 months beyond completion of the tour. No visas are
required for U.S. citizens for any Adventures by Disney vacations.
16) Do Guests need special documentation to travel with
Children?
Some countries on Adventures by Disney vacations have specific entry
requirements for children under 21 who are traveling internationally
with or without both parents. Usually, a notarized letter, signed by the
parent or parents not traveling with the child and stating the child's
name, adult guardian's name, itinerary, dates of travel, and flight
information, is required. To ensure smooth travel, Adventures by Disney
requires all travelers to comply with the regulations for the country
being visited. This information is available from each country's
consulate. Adventures by Disney is not responsible for the disruption of
travel caused by improper documentation for any travelers, including
children traveling without both parents.
