Water-skiing, Wakeboarding and Tubing

Waterskiing, wakeboarding and tubing excursions are available for one to five people at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Waterskiing includes boat, a Sammy Duvall ski instructor and equipment. Reservations required. Half-day wakeboarding mini-camp also available.

Surfing

Ready to hang ten? You can ride the waves at Typhoon Lagoon before the park opens! It’s a 2 1/2 hour adventure where you’ll ride the waves after you receive top-notch instruction. Private functions also available. $125 per person.

Parasailing

$85.00 plus tax for one, $135.00 plus tax for tandem departing from Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Canoeing

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground: alligators, deer, herons and other wildlife can be seen in Fort Wilderness canals - $6.50 (1/2 hour use) and $11 (1 hour use). Three person maximum. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort canoe rentals - $6.50 (1/2 hour use) and $11 (1 hour use). Three person maximum.

Bicycling

Bike paths and Mongoose bicycle rentals available at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Rental at most Resorts is $8 per hour, $22 per day.

Fireworks/Moonlight Cruises

"Breathless" Fireworks Cruise, a 1930 Mahogany reproduction Chris Craft Run-about Boat - $190 for boat, seven guest maximum, available at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort.

VIP Cruise on Grand I Yacht, a 45-foot Sea Ray Yacht staffed by a captain and deckhand; 12 guests maximum. Available at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. $350.00 per hour.

Tri-Circle-D Ranch

The Tri-Circle-D Ranch, located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, is home to Disney's world-famous Percheron hitch. The Ranch offers a variety of recreational activities for the entire family.

Trail Rides - 45 minutes, all participants must be at least nine years old. Rider weight limit is 250 pounds. $23.00.

Hayrides - Relaxing, one-hour hayrides wander the trails of Fort Wilderness, the shores of Bay Lake and through spooky Sherwood Forest. 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. nightly, weather permitting. $6.00 adults, $4.00 children. Tickets are purchased from the driver.

Pony Rides and Petting Farm - Pony rides are available with a rider weight limit of 80 pounds, from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. daily, $3.00. A petting farm is located next to the pony rides and houses many unique animals including Blossom the donkey, goats, sheep and exotic chickens. There is no charge for the petting farm. Feed corn is available for 25 cents.

Miniature Golf

Disney's Winter Summerland - This interactive miniature golf experience is fun for the whole family. The whimsical courses feature two wacky 18-hole adventures. The Winter Course features an ice castle and a trip to the North Hole. In The Summer Course you can experience fun in the sun with a visit to Santa on the Winternet. Both courses provide exhilarating family entertainment.

Fantasia Gardens - Hippos dance, fountains leap and broomsticks march at this 36-hole miniature golf adventure. Choose Fantasia Gardens for a fantastic escapade complete with music and interactive obstacles from Disney's classic film Fantasia. Experienced golfers can challenge Fantasia Fairways, complete with par-three and par-four holes ranging in length from 40 to 75 feet long.

Greens fees are $9.76 adult and $7.78 children ages 3-9 plus tax for all courses.

Tennis

Clay courts are available at Disney’s Racquet Club at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Hard courts may be found at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort. All courts are lit for night play. A fully-stocked pro shop with Disney Character wear is available at Disney’s Racquet Club at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Disney’s Osprey Ridge Course

Tom Fazio, who in 1989 was voted "Golf Course News" “Architect of the Year,” has designed a course that is totally unique to this area. This links-style course is designed by mounds and ridges framing the large greens and rolling fairways. The course plays 6,680 yards from the middle tees and winds its way through a tropical wilderness.

Disney’s Eagle Pines Course

With eight of his courses ranked in the top 50 in the world by "Golf Magazine", Pete Dye specializes in designing strokes of genius. Playing 6,309 yards from the middle tees, this course features dish-shaped fairways that create a low, sweeping look and keep play at the same level as the surrounding trees. But beware, those beautiful pines can easily become tenacious foes!

Disney’s Oak Trail

The 9-hole, par-36 walking course features small, undulating greens and elevated tees. Playing to 2,913 yards from the middle tees and surrounded by thick vegetation and wildlife, it’s perfect for those who enjoy walking a course and soaking up the scenery. Shots shouldn’t be approached too casually - Disney’s Oak Trail greens have been labeled some of the most challenging at the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Disney's Magnolia Course

More than 1,500 magnolia trees dot this course designed for big hitters. As the setting for the final round of the National Car Rental® Golf Classic at Walt Disney World® Resort, a PGA TOUR® event, this beautifully manicured course has all the earmarks of a golfer’s paradise: elevated tees and greens, rolling terrain, water on 10 of the 18 holes, and 6,642 yards from the middle tees! The par-3 sixth hole even pays tribute to Mickey Mouse with a bunker shaped to form his silhouette.

Disney’s Palm Course

The beauty of the Florida woodlands makes the Palm not only a pleasure to play, but also one of Disney’s toughest. Rated by "Golf Digest" as one of “America’s 75 Best Resort Courses,” this Joe Lee course plays a modest 6,461 yards from the middle tees and boasts more than its share of water and sand. On the 18th, golfers will be challenged by a hole that’s been rated the fourth toughest on the PGA TOUR®.

Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Course

Styled in a classic country club setting, the Lake Buena Vista course plays 6,268 yards from the middle tees. This challenging course, which meanders through dense pine forests, is characterized by small, well-bunkered greens that demand accurate shot-making. It all adds up to a golf experience that truly reflects the philosophy of the course’s designer, Joe Lee.
