Boo! Don't be afraid. The screams you hear are squeals of delight, not fright. Disney fantasy and Halloween fun come together on selected nights in September and October for a one-of-a-kind celebration. Seize this rare opportunity to visit the Magic Kingdom® in costume, ride some of the most popular attractions and enjoy some really sweet trick-or-treating with favorite Disney characters in their finest Halloween outfits. With special music, a parade and the spectacular Happy HalloWishes fireworks show, this is no trick — it's a real treat. For safety, costumes must not be obstructive or offensive.

TICKETS:
Event participation is not included with regular Theme Park admission. A separate ticket is required. Tickets are valid for entry only during the event time (listed above) for the date purchased. As event nights often sell out in advance, purchasing tickets at the earliest possible date is highly recommended.

TIPS & HELPFUL ADVICE
(tips from Michael based on our latest visit 10/23/2006)

• Arrive after 7pm or be in the park before the party starts (separate admission required), if you arrive at 7pm you will be inline! Trick or Treat bags are provided
   
• Don't worry about filling up your bag, there are many candy cast members on the way out and (wait there's more) just outside the exit is a "top of your bag" location where they will, well, top of your bag (usually Snickers)! Head straight for the Castle, get a seat on the parade route in front of the castle, watch the special Halloween show at 7:45, turn around and watch the parade! (be warned however they will make you move strollers back one row). You will be asked to turn off all lights including cameras, scooter lights and toys before the headless horsemen comes out but you can turn them back on after he has come through, apparently the horse is guided by light. They will ask you to not use flashes during the parade which no one follows.
   
• Watch HalloWishes from the Plaza Pavilion, if you do the above head over there after the parade and you will find seats right up front! Send someone off  for dinner (I suggest McDonalds fries from "The Village Fry Shoppe" located behind the castle) and by the time you are done eating the fireworks will be starting. Cheapest dinner and best viewing! Missed the first parade? Watch the second one, it's less crowded.

GUIDELINES

All Nights 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
The Magic Kingdom Park will close at 7 p.m. on event nights and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will begin at that time.

WRISTBANDS
All event Guests will receive wristbands for the event upon arrival. For Guests already in the Park, wristbands are available at the Rose Garden near Cinderella Castle beginning at 4:00 pm.

Wristband colors for each night will vary.

COSTUMES
. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the event feel
. Costumes should be child-friendly and not obtrusive or offensive
. Adult Guests may wear masks, but masks must not obstruct vision
. Guests that "look like" our Disney characters should will be politely informed that they may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests
