One of the most common question in the
forums is about Disney World tickets and many are confused as to what
options to purchase and for how many days. I'm going to try to make and make
your purchasing tickets easier here but keep in mind with so many options
you should carefully consider your Disney World tickets.
Before we begin
don't forget that we sell
discount Disney World tickets! The prices below are gate prices and are
subject to change...
You
can discuss Disney World tickets in our forums here.
Okay, some genius somewhere at
Disney decided that confusing and frightening people with
all the options and a potential gauntlet of bad purchases would make them
more money. Read the following carefully and you will find the best bang for
your buck. The whole system appears to me to be a way to keep you on their
property longer. The idea is that if they give you a substantial discount
for the more days you buy the more time you will spend at Disney and the
less money will go elsewhere all the while making sure that you don't load
up on tickets at this years prices like we used to do in the past.
How many days should I buy my
Disney World Tickets for?
Well, lets answer this with another
question, how many days are you staying for? Consider the following,
we will only cover the adult tickets for illustration purposes and prices
are rounded and out of date by the time you are reading this (Disney changes
prices about twice a year, check the shopping cart for our prices).
-
1 day Disney World base tickets
are $75! 1 day and not even a park hopping ticket!
-
2 day Disney World base tickets
are $148, again, not even a park hopper!
-
3 day Disney World base tickets
are $216, now you are starting to get a break on price at about $72 a
day
-
4 day Disney World base tickets
are $225, again, even cheaper at $45 per day
-
5 day Disney World base tickets
are $228, about the same price as a 4 day at $45 per day
-
6 day Disney World base tickets
are $231, wow, now it's only $38 per day, so an extra day is only $3
more.
-
7 day Disney World base tickets
are $233, so now you are getting an extra day for just $2!
-
8 day Disney World base tickets
are $235, just $2 more again
-
9 day Disney World base tickets
are $237, you guessed it $2
-
10 day Disney World base tickets
are $239, well, 2 is a great number right?
The above are base tickets meaning
that they can only be used for entry into The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios
or Disney's Animal Kingdom... you can not exit one park and
travel to another park in the same day and before you think to yourself well
I'll just buy more days than I need and use those extra days to park hop
think again because you can't. So how can you park hop? Well you need to add
the Park Hopper option.
Park Hopping!
The park hopper option is $48 more no
matter how many days you buy, yep, a single day park hopper is $123 big ones!
But consider that for just $48 extra you can exit one park and travel to
another but only with the 4 main parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal
Kingdom). So a 10 day park hopper ticket would only be $287, not to bad
considering what you are getting but there is a problem still, these tickets
expire 14 days after first use so there goes your idea of buying 10 days and
only using 5 during this trip to Disney World... don't despair there is a
way to save those tickets with the "no expire" a.k.a. "no
expiration"
option.
No Expiration Disney World Tickets
!
Okay, so now you want to buy 10 day
tickets and use only 5 days this trip... you will need to add the no
expiration option to your Disney World tickets priced as follows.
-
1 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option (duh? it's only a single day ticket)
-
2 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $10 which doesn't make sense to me, just buy 2 singles
right?
-
3 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $21. okay now you are starting to save a little money
-
4 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $47 price jump
-
5 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $63 wow, they really want you to use those tickets
-
6 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $69
-
7 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option is $100
-
10 day Disney World no expiration
ticket option $191, ding, ding, guess what, you no longer want the no
expire option.
Water Park & More (A.K.A. Magic Plus) Disney World Tickets
!
But what about the other parks like
Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest and Wide World
of Sports complex? You my friend need the "magic plus" option. By now
you are saying stop, stop, my brain is swelling but this option can be a
huge savings. Lets look at the pricing but also notice that the more days on
your regular tickets the more days you get at these other parks. The Magic
Plus Disney World Ticket option is just $53 no matter how many days you
tickets are but the more days you tickets are the more visits you be given
for the other parks.
-
1 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 1 visits to the other parks
-
2 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 2 visits to the other parks
-
3 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 3 visits to the other parks
-
4 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 4 visits to the other parks
-
5 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 5 visits to the other parks
-
6 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 6 visits to the other parks
-
7 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 7 visits to the other parks
-
8 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 8 visits to the other parks
-
9 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 9 visits to the other parks
-
10 day Disney World magic plus
ticket option comes with 10 visits to the other parks
Park Hopper PLUS Water Park & More (A.K.A. Premium) Disney World Tickets
!
Oh crap, what is this premium ticket
thing? Simply put, the premium ticket is a base ticket with the park hopper
option and the magic plus option, you can also add the no expiration to
these tickets.
