I have a real sensitivity to Flourescent bulbs. I'll get migraines really quickly if subjected to a predominate fluorescent lighting scheme.
In my office, I'll work with the lights off over working with the fluorescent bulbs on.
I heard on my Daily Giz Wiz podcast (a Leo Laporte podcast that showcases unique tech gadgets) about a company that is making LED bulbs to use instead of the fluorescents. I'll probably give them a try instead. I know LED lighting works for me because it's not so blue.
They also have a long lifespan as well and supposedly use less electricity than fluorescents, but cost a bit more but also have a longer lifespan.
Plus, they have different light bulb configurations (flood, spot, lamp, etc).
