what do you do with your change jar?? 7 years 1 month ago #5338

We have a big water cooler jug, one of those that you see in an office setting. We have been putting all of our change it in for the past year. We have recently started adding dollar bills. My husband kept takin the quarters out to get coffee in the morning but I fixed him. I super glued the lid on it and just made the opening big enough to get quarters in. He was very surpised the next morning. I heard him come in the bedroom and I just giggled to myself. It is paying off now. On top of that we have collected $100.00 each for both of our kids in disney dollars for them to use as their spending money. That way when we get their they will feel special using their disney cash and not ours. Not they we won't spend the money on them anyway. We plan to keep this water cooler jug every year now to use as our disney money.

I save my money in a really big instant coffee jar. I exchange the coins for paper money (shops are always glad of the change!) and then keep that for for our Disney holidays. I Have got £160 (about 220 dollars?) which will come in VERY useful when we make our seventh trip to Disney in 18 days time [:D]
