Scheduled to open June 1, 2009, The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are now taking reservations. Elevated 10 feet off the ground, all 60 stand-alone Treehouse Villas are set among the treetops to offer families an intimate retreat that sleeps nine, while providing all the modern comforts your Clients desire.

Nestled in natural forest glens, The Treehouse Villas mark the newest phase of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This new phase will revive Walt Disney World Resort "treehouse living," a tradition from 1975 to 2002. The Treehouse Villas opened in 1975 as the first stand-alone accommodations on Walt Disney World Resort property, and became a "well kept secret" for returning Guests who loved their seclusion and charm. While the original villas of the 1970s are being replaced with 60 brand-new vacation homes, Imagineers took special care to honor the original octagonal design in the treetops.

Now, at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, the new, larger homes are designed and built to create an unforgettable experience. The villas promise to rekindle fond memories of past vacations, while providing 21st century amenities and comforts. All stand-alone, three-bedroom homes, elevated 10 feet off the ground on pedestals and beams designed to blend into the forest environment, will sleep nine and offer modern luxuries such as cathedral ceilings, granite countertops and flat-screen TVs, all presented in a style dubbed "cabin casual."

Each three-bedroom, 1,074-square-foot Treehouse Villa features the following:

* 3 bedrooms - sleeps up to nine
o 1 queen-size bed in the master bedroom
o 1 queen-size bed in the 2nd bedroom
o 1 set of bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom
o 1 queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room
o 1 sleeper chair in living room
* Flat panel TV in living room and each bedroom, DVD player in living room
* Master bathroom with whirlpool tub
* 2nd bathroom
* Full kitchen includes the following: coffee maker, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher
* Laundry area with stacked washer and dryer
* Ceiling fan in living room and master bedroom
* Private deck at the top of the stairs near the entry door to the villa

A treehouse brings a sense of adventure, making kids feel more like grownups, and grownups feel more like kids. Now, at The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, any family can fulfill this childhood longing, with an added dash of luxury and comfort

Crazy for Disney! I'd live there if they'd let me!

$650 a night is steep... might have to reconsider this resort visit if there is no real attraction other than the villa itself. I'm sure they are very nice, just not $650 a night nice.

Michael maybe you could rent some DVC points from someone. I'd rent you some of ours but we are using them all for the Kidani village in May.

I know on Dis boards they have a place that people rent points from.
Disney World here I come!!!

Well, truth be told travel agents (such as myself) can get discounts but it's still very expensive for family like that is only staying there to enjoy the resort itself... I mean we only live about 15 minutes from that very location. For a group or a large family this is probably a great option but I wanted to checkout first hand so I would have information to share with you guys.
