Art of Animation standard rooms (1/2)

After searching a number of sites....I was only able to find standard rooms in the Little Merrmaid area, as the different area open will they also have standard rooms or just suites? The resort looks great, looking to book a Christmas vacation.

Little Mermaid will be the only section of the resort that offers standard rooms. They are a pretty good distance from Animation Hall as well. They don't open until September.

Yes, the Little Mermaid rooms will be the only Standard Rooms available at The Art of Animation. Although they will be further away, they should be quieter. I've heard staying in the Nemo Suites are a lot of fun, but close to the pool and can be a bit noisy at night. I think they have 'quiet time' starting at 11:00, but many people are ready for bed before that.

Think we will check it out in August, we are staying at pop century but hear that animation is close enough to stop by. Can;'t decide where to stay in December? Animation or Pop Century, we'll decide after touring both.

Just a short walk across the bridge over Hour Glass lake. The Lion King section should be open in August as well.

That is great news, being big walkers, it is good to know that we can walk over there instead of taking a bus. I am so glad you passed that information on, do you by chance know if there are going to be fish in the water? Our kids love watching them at Carribean Beach, that might be a good selling point to get them geared up for a walk.
