TOPIC: Little Bavarian Restaurant Overlooking Small World

Little Bavarian Restaurant Overlooking Small World 8 months 1 week ago #36307

Every time we visit the Magic Kingdom, I see a little Bavarian looking restaurant, which seems to overlook the beginning of the Small World attraction. Can anyone tell me what the name of the place is, and if it is super crowded or requires reservations. I always notice it and forget about it for lunch while we are there. I also could be mixing up the Magic Kingdom and Disney Land, but am pretty sure I saw it in Orlando. We are going to be there over Halloween and I would like to eat there. Thanks for the help!

I think you are referring to Pinnochios Village, maybe? I've never eaten there though so I can't offer much except that is counter service so the food will be pretty much the same as any other quick service which is usually rather over priced and lacking in quality.

Thanks Michael! That is the place! I think we have eaten just about everywhere else, I wanted to eat at this place and not forget this time. We are going to eat at Akershus house, I think that is the name and that will be new as well. About 40 something days to go before our trip!

A little old post but it was Pinocchio's Village Haus - however, with the Fantasyland remodel, did they take it out?

Thanks for the replies everyone! We ate a quick lunch there one day, and it is in the Pinochio House place. I had been in there before but didn't realize that when you pick up your food, you walk into the dining area to the right instead of the left, which is where we have always gone in the past. We sat with a table which overlooked the small world boats loading and unloading. It was a busy time of day and surprisingly this eating area was somewhat quiet compared to everything else. My boys are a little older now and enjoyed it but this would be a great place to take little ones for lunch, to keep them entertained for a few minutes more, while they can watch the people getting on and off of the Small World ride.
