The Epcot Thing continues to grow in size ans scope everyday, and I am constantly getting emails from our little community asking how they can help...honestly right now we just need everyone to keep doing what they are....spreading the word about the even.

The Epcot Thing Planning Committee has recently gone ahead and created this press release for anyone who needs it.

I can't thank everyone enough for all there support of this event since it's inception last February and I know I can't wait until October 1st!

Also we are proud to announce that the original Dreamfinder Ron Schneider will be doing the History of Epcot tour with Jeff Lange.

We have an entire days worth of events planned including the now famous "Beverlyfest"!

So What Exactly Is The Epcot Thing?
Epcot has always been a huge part of Nathan Rose's, (founder of Magical Mountain, FlickDirect, and Magical Definition) life. As a young child of 8 when Epoct Center first opened to the public he was in love. Upon hearing that the 25th Anniversary was coming up Nathan was beside himself with joy eagerly anticipating the events that Disney would have to celebrate. His dreams of a 25th Anniversary celebration were crushed when Disney officially announced back in January of 2007 there would not be any sort of celebration. However, this would not deter Nathan. In February 2007 Nathan along with his team at Magical Mountain and Magical Definition, along with Tim from The Magic In Pixels came up with a plan to have their own celebration, "The Epcot Thing". We invite you to join us on October 1st, 2007 in celebration of Walt Disney’s Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.

The day has many fun events and meets scheduled including Beverlyfest, an Illuminations meet and possibly as Adventurer's Club meet. Activities begin at 7:00 a.m. and continue through the ENTIRE day so not to worry! You will have plenty of time to stop by! For more information, please go to the official “Epcot Thing” Website at

Please note if you are planning to attend the any events of "The Epcot Thing" Magical Mountain would like to encourage you to please R.S.V.P. to epcotthing[at]magicalmountain.net so we may get a rough count on how many people will be attending.

For some reason the forum software goes nuts when you try to display an e-mail address.

So I fixed Nathan's post so that I replaced the @ character with [at].

So if you are going to manually type the e-mail address into your e-mail program, replace the [at] with @ character.

If you do click on the text though it will open up your default e-mail program with the correct e-mail address.

    Sorry for the inconvenience

I have code to remove the email addresses but it gets stuck and I don't feel like fixing it however it does do what I want it to which is to remove the email address... spam bots are a terrible thing!

Anyone know regular expressions that can come up with one that won't go bonkers when mixed with forum code LOL.
